Is there a film that you could pop in the dvd player anytime and just sit down and watch it?

 HOT!
is there a film you can watch over and over?

Lord of the Rings. It's around 6 hours so far, probably will be 10 total when RotK comes out. But damn, there's just so much detail in it that it really takes a while to know it all. Add to the fact that I could concentrate on a movie and I still wouldnt know the name of the main character, and it can last for a pretty freakin' long time.

And Spiderman beats Daredevil! Teh spidey nerd beats blind losers! :p

 *runs*

I'll be watching Miracle when it comes to DVD. It was such a great movie. Best thing is that it really happened. :)

Too many to list, but the one that really stands out is The Usual Suspects. It's amazing once you re-watch it how many hints were dropped about the ending.

Darn forgot another gem of my youth, still an absolute fave in adulthood:

Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

... hmmm ... they just did the 30th Anniv Edition ...

I'm not looking forward to THAT being 'updated' (read: trashed) like everything else - Cat in the Hat, Grinch, Charlie's Angels, Starsky and Hutch, BattleStar Galactica, and on and on and on ...

 Mike

LOTR trilogy, The Matrix, Family Guy episodes (on DVD)

The only movie I can watch over and over again without getting bored or annoyed from watching it for so long is... um...... Disneys The Princes Diaries :laugh6:

Twin Peaks quote, "Mike, IS the man!"

Apart from Eraserhead, Fire Walk With Me is the most Lynch has been allowed to be himself in any directorial project.... The results are obvious....astounding, and pseudo-mystical soft porn is a great description man ! I loved Ran, a great take on King Lear, still, Throne of Blood is absolutley amazing... the storyline and performances are overpowering, you almost forget you are watching in B&W I often find....
