if you take a closer look at the picture on the right.. second from the top... which shows sam and max standing infront of their police car... look

the wall behind them looks kinda dark and gloomy... and it has max crying.. and a cloud is raining

could this be a sign from the designers that lucas arts ****ed them over before the anouncement was made public

Yup. It's already been over-analyzed to death in another thread.
It could very well mean something,.. or it could be a string of unconnected coincidences.
Either way, it doesn't un-cancel the game though... :(
