I tried looking in the tutorials, but I got confused by them half the time, and it looked like what I was doing was right the other half.
  Basically, I want to edit the Genoharadan armor so that it shows as the red version of this (
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128790) armor, without losing any of its properties. 
 So I got the armor, modified the body and texture variations up to an AC8 armor (i.e. seven) in a seemingly unused texture spot (seven, again).
 Then I put it in my override folder. 
 However, despite there being a matching .tga file (named PFBG07.tga), the armor just looks like normal.
 Changing the texture variation makes it display other armors, but never heavy ones as I'd expect with a 7 Body Variation. 
 My question is; is what I'm trying to do impossible? Or am I merely just doing something wrong?
