Recently I had to re-purchase the SWGB game because I crunched my first disk (Disk Two). Now, after installing the new one, certain items are not researchable anymore. For example, when I play the confederacy, I can not research upgrades for fighters and bombers. If I play trade federation, it does not require me to build pre-fab shelters. I could go on and on what I can and cant research or build. I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it and now nothing works right. I even tried installing from the original I purchased and am having the same problem. Everything esle on my computer works right. Why not this. Do I needs some kind of patch or does anyone know what is wrong.

There is no patch or anything and this kind of thing seems extremely odd.

The ONLYway around this, is to FULLY un-install SWGB.

Uninstall as normal but also remove the game from your computers registry.

To do this the easy way. Download Reg cleaner, or something similar from www.downloads.com) - its free and will remove all the stuff unwanted.

Follow the instructions. Once down and you have uninstalled then removed from yr registry, reboot and re-install.
