you can use carbon steel low-alloy high strength steel or quenched and tempered steel and i do believe my ~$42 million worth of 500 mm quenched tempered steel is much stronger than some silly arch.

Hmm, didn't realize there was a price cap. Carbon nanotubes are really expensive. As for the arches: I might add that the Roman Coliseum still stands.
