i just saw a post in which someone complained about the Empire having weak air units. Ummmmm, have you guys ever watch one star wars movie?? Tie fighters are a joke. Just like they will be in the game. When the naboo and rebs upgrade to shields they will have much more effective fighters. They wiil have shields which regenerate, making them last longer, and if you have good unit control, be very effective. Of course some civs dont have shields and the have weak air, thats what makes the game fun. Different civs have different strengths. The empire will make up for their lack of air in the mechs dept. My point is, dont complain about game balance when you cant even upgrade to see the games most important units with the most important upgrades.

Yes there are, but this one is well fundamented, Rebel and Naboo fighters regenerate, be smart, take in good health units, take out low health units, like this, your armies will last forever

My take on Air Units is this; They are weak when you reach Tech 3. In tech 4 people are saying they are going to be much more powerful, ok thats good. But I think they should have perhaps evened it out a bit. Like slowly make Air units more powerful, don't have them suddenly be really strong at Tech 4, make it a smooth transition. Thats just my opinion :mon:

True, but some of them do still. I would have prefered it, if they made the upgrades for the units more smooth and not suddenly get all this good stuff at Tech 4, like I stated above. :)
i understand...but keep in mind that air units dont even come in the picture till tech 3...when are they supposed to get all the upgrades? tech 3.5??? lol
