I love WinXP. I also miss playing "Dark Forces". I have the new Win98 install edition. I installed it on XP and works fine, but no sound. Setup dosent detect a sound card although I have SB Audigy. Is there a way to get sound in this game and WinXP? thanks:confused:
did you try setting the programs compatibility to win98, that works wonders on many games for me
i reboot in dos mode when i play df typically
if it doesnt detect a sound card, isnt there a way to override it and choose 1 urself?
df is so old it prolly doesnt recognize the sb audigy and therefore doesnt report it
