German Version & The Zone

Ok, this is wicked, I have talked to numerous Germans on the zone and none of them is able to play on the zone.. it says game failed to launch. DXdiag says: "Jedi Outcast, Registering: error file: jk2mp.exe; version: <missing file>; GUID: blablabla .

Could it be that the German DirectX-Version is somehow incompatible with the DirectPlay of JO?

Any ideas? :rolleyes:
