fuzzy video problem

hi, i just loaded this game onto a brand new 1.4 ghz amd computer with 256 ram and a s3 graphics inc prosavage video card.

all of the words in the menu, subtitles, ect are fuzzy to the point of unreadable. how can if fix this?

its so bad i cant read what the settings are in the game to play. please help me.
