Are you telling me that Raven has put a cd check into the Linux version for 1.03???...thats just f**kin stupid if you ask me.
Please tell me I am wrong, cause with bots I cant get 1.03 to run, I cant find the "c" version of jk2ded so I put in the "b" version and all runs fine once again:)
Did you try it with bots off and did you make sure to upload the assets2.pk3 file?

Yeah, I was about to rant to Raven and freak out, then you mentioned the *.pak file I was missing, I didn't see that one on the read-me.
