Okay, on the last level, Maul died with half his health left. What's up with that?

Let me give you the details: I am on the PSX version, and am using the invincibility cheat. I threw 20 Gungan Balls at him, started slicing, and he ran to the bridge. I fired a few dozen blaster shots at him, and he deflected them all. I got out my Proton Launcher, and he keels over.

Most times when he dies, there's a little bit of health left.

Maybe he uses the Bear-Strategy: Lie dead and he won't hurt you.
It seems to work. ;)

Whan I joined him for the final battle, his health was cut in half too, and not by me.

That 'Deadly Force' thing dosen't work either.
