 I am MYST fan.
 I have all three.
 But it is true
 many people Hate MYST.
In Riven you get to see
 some people, but not really
 interact with them.
 In Exile there is yourself
 and one other character,
 plus the Squee.
 (the Squee Be Cool!)
also there is the big red bird.
 And Saveedro the protagonist
 played by Brad Dourif.
 *I am kind of Soppy,
I like Brad Dourif as an actor
and I felt pathos towards his
predicament. He was not a happy
camper but as the game promo says,
 Exile is the perfect place
 to plan your revenge.*
 MYST, Riven and Exile
 have great Ambient music OST's
 all still available to buy
 in record stores and online.
 And as each games progress's
so do the enviroments you play in.
(in Myst linking is fade to black)
(in Riven 360 view from above)
(in Exile a 360 corkscrew dive
into a 3D enviroment. As in all
 games visuals and graphics tend
 to improve as games progress.)
 Cyan's major project right now
is called "Mud Pie" working title.
It is suppose to be an online game.
One where you can play alone,
 or encounter other players.
Also Mud Pie is suppose to track
 people's moments and measures
and alter the game as time goes on.
So if people ie continually go one
 way rather than another,
a path in the grass may eventually
emerge. And as you spend time on or
in Mud Pie, the game in real time on
their server will change from night
to day and will change from season
 to season.

 as far as buying it,
 besy advice borrow MYST
from a friend and see what
 you think or ask someone
 who really knows your
 gaming preferences
 what they think.
 personally I place
 the MYST trilogy
in my top 10 of games
I have played and or own.
 *oh yes*
I have the Exile making of CD
it can be played on your computer
 like an internal webpage presentation
I could try making a copy for you
or sending it to you in zip files.
also three books paper back only now
 MYST book of Atrus
 MYST book of Ti'Ana
 MYST book of Terranee
they do not spoil the puzzles
 but they do give lots
of background on the D'Ni race.
 Co-writen by game creators
 Miller brothers and author
 David Windgrove (or something)
I own them too as well as
the OST and I have my little
Squee by my computer with me.
