well im tired of seeing the Elite in Halo and i wanna play as one really bad
so..im going to make an ettempt to TRY and make a Covenant Elite
i tried 2 tiems last night and i just kept ****ed up lol
if ANYONE can find FRONT BACK OR SIDE pictures of him relaxed and not opened mouth i would REALLY appreciate them
i had the 2 very good pics from bungie's truth and reconcilliation site but i need some better pics
or if someone wants to draw them (Icepool i would really love it if u could draw him good, i know ur a good drawer BUT its only if u want to, im happy with the IAG pics u drew)
but i should have some WIP pics if i don't **** it my last 2 attempts...unless someone makes him im NOT going to stop until i make him
and if u think he won't fit into the bone structure...ur wrong...he will =O)
so plz..SOMEONE make him..i can't nail his head worth ****
I'd draw him for you but i dont have a clue as to who he is. Unfortunately I've never been able to play Halo or even an xbox due to limited money over the last year.:(

also ill get my digital camera and take some in game pics...thers like 4 different elites for EACH color so i dunno what one im going to get lol
I can think of five classes of Elites. No reason they can't all be in the game seeing as how they're just different colors.
There are three classes of Elite.
Red and Blue command Squads.
Purple and Maroon are the Word and Will version. They are shock/commando versions of the above.
Gold Elites command entire Units. there are only 8 in the game on Legendary.
I will say you are going to be VERY hard pressed to make one with only as many polys as are available.. And you're going to have to have custom animations for EVERYTHING.
Ok then, five colors of Elites. Blue, red, gold, silver, and black.
darth it will work as a regular player
and as for ranks your wrong lol
each color has about 3 differnt helmets

and some other i think it only has 2 points that are in the middle
and they are for all the dark blue
then red
then light blue
then gold
then platnium
i have the game and i get bored..what can i say =OD
as for grunts...no one cares lol
The complete list of Elite colors is as follows:
Blue (Basic)
Red (Higher Ranking)
Cloaked
Un-Cloaked Silver-Blue
Gold (Highest Ranking)
Black (Covert Ops)
I belive Gold would be the best choice, I also have a Covenant plasma sword in the works right now. Let me know if you would like to use it

Nice job on the head, but i'm thinking the body is gonna be a hell of a lot harder because of the dog-like legs.
the legs arn't a prob for me...they'll fit on the bone sctructure its not hard..but it'll be a lil challenging to make

Invisible Elites are blue elites...
and Maroon and Purple ARE the Spec Op elites. The Word and The Will. With the Platinum Armoring.
As for the model.. nice... But his jaw(s) is too Charlton Heston/Kirk Douglas... Can you make it more narrow and smaller heigthwise? Remember everything comes to a smooth slope when his jaws are closed... (For the GOLD ELITES, the ones with the swept back three/five point heads, which are the coolest heads IMO, and the one you seem to be modeling) (and yes, I understand you are working under duress and the restraints of the polycount restrictions :cool: ) Your jaw seems taken from the "fin" head Elites.. the three or Five "point" headed Gold Elites have a narrow jaw.
The other heads are the "fin" heads (last pic) and the "spear" heads (shown in the pic with the red elite neck shot and the two blues putting the double team smackdown on the flood)

The only emulator out is a Trojan. NOt a good idea to DL..

What I mean was make the BOTTOM of the jaw smaller and narrower. Suck it in.... and as for the front of the face it should be SMOOTH, no gap, on the gold elite (pointy head) You have a gap on top, like the fin heads have.. the pointy heads don't.. It's like it's one piece until they speak. (like the top picture link)
Sorry I'm being anal.. but I am ALL about Halo.. and Bungie in general.. And the Gold Elite is one of my favorite characters of all time.

the jutting out part on the forehead.. in the side view you provided.. the part of his forehead that sticks out farther than the rest of his face... It shouldn't. The side view would look like one continuous piece..

I wasn't saying that the mouth is a solid piece.. It's his eye/browline. There's no forehead protrusion on a Gold Elite. The spike heads also have smaller jaws, not so blocky, like the difference between a T-Rex and a "Raptor".
Why don't you guys release both of them together? I would love to see both.
Agent... umm well... It's not an Elite from the game... but it's damn cool... scrunch the jaw in, and make his face thinner.. and your damn close.
