I am starting to make. I hope to have
most of it's shell built by next week.

Calaverablanca is a GF fansite
which also is going to slightly
parody film noir movies such as
Casablanca.
(which every GF member of this forum
should see, because you will appreciate
year 2 all the more for seeing it.)

also am looking for submissions
for this site. Grim Skins.(especially)

yahoo messenger
icq sound schemes,
anything like that.
or any leads on where
to get skining tools.
I have skinamp so can make
winamp skins, and I can also
make an msn messenger skin,
but would like to the same
for the other instant chat
thingies.

any and all authors

properly credited
for their work.

I have flowcharted everything out
first and done story boards
I never just paste and put a site up
spur of thought.
so the shell or form goes or comes
first then the content.
and since I unfortunately have way too
much time on my hands
I can upkeep my site nicely
once it is made.

like stated any and all ideas

will be given serious thought.

as of this post tonight I have reached the main menu page. when it is done aka tomorrow you will be able to bookmark it to avoid going over and over the introduction section unless you really like doing so. hey look at that word wrap does exist. Hmmm...

And the library is evil because
a) the glare on the monitors
make them almost impossible to read.
and
b) to discourage people from

all the screens show black small type
on dark the GF2 background.
so reading any post is useless.

spent a fruitless day
with wonky sound wav's.
tried to convert wav's
from GF into smaller mp3's
for easier download,
they sounded hopeless
NOT GOOD (so I mean BAD)
I am using win98's
soundrecorder utility,
when opening a file it says:

radio quality
pcm 22,050HZ
16bit, stereo

these files are fine for HD
but too big for upload/download
purposes; any help?

is going to have to set up shop
elsewhere. so I may be cyber nomadic

The site's great. You done a music section out yet? Because I can get you lots and lots of GF music if you want.

And I haven't seen kuch of Casablanca, but as soon as I saw Year 2 I knew there was some noir referance.

I'm also working on my GF site, 'The Cat Track'. It will also hopefully have a forum, but I doubt it. It might be done soon, hopefully.

but the beat goes on.
I am downloading or rather
uploading the music portion
of calaverablanca.
so far in the BeBop Bones portion
of my fan site,
the misc portion is complete
and year one
parts 4,5 and half of 3
is done.
still have year 1 parts 1,2
and half of 3 to do.
also have year 2 ready to be
FTP'ed as soon as I finish
year 1. then I will do
years 3 and 4.
but at 56k and through
geocities FTP program
it is nasty.
but I do this all for you.:cool:

BeBopBones the music portion
of my fan site is being completed
this week, by next saturday hopefully.
friends with high speed are going to
help upload the files quicker.
56k is so very slow.
but there are a lot of music tracks
to deal with to boot.
I had no idea the game had
so many lines of dialogue
and great music.
(I kind of knew but thinking it
and uploading it are two different
things all together.

anyway almost every single bit of
music from Grim Fandango is there
for the downloading of any GF fan
whom might want it.
