Can't play xwa! PLEASE HELP!

I just got this game from the lucas arts store. It looks so cool. I instaled it and tried to play but when I try to get into a mission the screen goes black and it kicks me out. Can anyone help me? My system specs are:

Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002

Hewlett-Packard
Pavilion
Intel Celeron CPU
1300MHz
1.29 GHz
256 MB of RAM

Could someone please help me?
